Proterra’s products help transit agencies deliver clean, quiet-running, rider- and neighborhood-friendly vehicles that meet government regulations and local mandates. At Proterra, each bus made is purpose-built and designed to meet the test of time and the needs of tomorrow’s transportation market today.

Vector

We are proud to welcome back Vector as a returning AVTC sponsor!

Vector will provide two main pieces of hardware to each team – a VN1630 CAN/LIN network interface tool and a GL2400 data logger. This hardware will be crucial as teams begin interfacing with their vehicle’s and need to collect date for design and validation purposes. To utilize the hardware, Vector will also be providing their CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape applications to teams, along with online training and support. Together, this package will cover most of the network interfacing and data collection needs of the teams.

Vector is the leading manufacturer of software tools and embedded components for the development of electronic systems and their networking with many different systems from CAN to Automotive Ethernet. Vector has been a partner of automotive manufacturers and suppliers and related industries since 1988. Vector tools and services provide engineers with the decisive advantage to make a challenging and highly complex subject area as simple and manageable as possible. Worldwide customers in the automotive, commercial vehicles, aerospace, transportation, and control technology industries rely on the solutions and products of the independent Vector Group for the development of technologies for future mobility.

Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports will contribute unparalleled education through their industry-wide expertise on CAV features, e.g., driver monitoring systems, in-cabin displays, and CAV feature overviews. This will help introduce teams to the CAV industry from a high-level before developing their systems while also ensuring in-cabin features are developed with inclusive-design as a priority.
