Mission
The University of Michigan-Dearborn & Henry Ford College Battery Workforce Challenge team is dedicated to cultivating a skilled workforce for the ever-evolving battery industry. The crew aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and expertise necessary to drive innovation. Its mission is to contribute to a sustainable future by shaping leaders who will propel advancements in battery technology.
Goals
Year one goals for the team include:
Project manager's main goal: For all team members to be aware of or familiar with the industry standards related to their roles.
Lead faculty advisor's primary goal: Significantly expand the impact of the Battery Workforce Challenge across all three campuses of the University of Michigan (Dearborn, Ann Arbor and Flint) and the surrounding communities as well as increase awareness and engagement, encouraging more students to actively participate in the challenge.
Hardware lead's goal: Provide thorough documentation of everything completed in year one so that there is complete transfer of knowledge to new members even after current members inevitably leave the program.
