The Battery Workforce Challenge collegiate competition empowers students to get industrious with this hands-on three-year series emboldening the future of the EV battery workforce. Headline sponsors U.S. Department of Energy and Stellantis are ramping up these efforts by providing the framework and vehicle – a 2024 Ram ProMaster EV – respectively, for each team to use in this competition. The non-headline sponsors provide students with their expertise, knowledge transfer and EV battery equipment and software programs they’ll need to be successful.
