From February 1 – 6, 2026, EcoCAR students, faculty, sponsors, and organizers will gather in Riverside, CA for the CARB Dyno Testing Event.

Dynamometer testing will assess the performance of the propulsion and connected and automated vehicle (CAV) systems of each team’s LYRIQ. The primary focus of this event is to accurately measure and benchmark the vehicle’s energy consumption.

Sponsor Day and the Innovation Showcase will be held on February 3, 2026, in conjunction with the EcoCAR Dyno Testing event. Sponsor Day will feature multiple opportunities to engage with EcoCAR teams, connect with government and industry partners, and experience CARB’s state-of-the-art facility. The Innovation Showcase will be similar to our traditional EcoCAR Sponsor Socials, but with a new focus: highlighting research, emerging technologies, and innovations from sponsors, government partners, and universities.
