We are pleased to announce that the 12 EcoCAR teams can now generate ground truth reference data to calibrate perception system sensors and refine sensor fusion algorithms!
This comes as Oxford Technical Solutions (OxTS) joins EcoCAR as a contributor-level competition sponsor; providing each team with an RT3000 – the market-leading GNSS-aided Inertial Navigation System.
“We’re delighted to have OxTS on board,” says Priyash Misra, Advanced Vehicle Technology Competition Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) Research Engineer. “For the students, it offers a leap forward in their ability to maximize the performance of their vehicles, whilst giving them hands-on experience with another tool that they will likely encounter often in their future careers.”
