From September 27 – 30, 2017 teams will gather in Natick, MA for the Year Four Fall Workshop, hosted by MathWorks. Throughout the workshop, teams will learn about Year Four competition rules and deliverables, and EcoCAR events for the coming year.
The teams will also have the opportunity to receive valuable and extensive training in donated software and components from competition-level sponsors such as MathWorks, General Motors, Siemens, Argonne National Laboratory, and more!
“We are looking forward to hosting the EcoCAR 3 Fall workshop on the MathWorks campus in Natick, MA,” said Sarah Beaven, Student Competition Program at MathWorks. “The workshop provides students the chance to learn from industry professionals to build their skills as future engineers. MathWorks is proud to be a part of that. ”
In addition to the technical training and sessions, communications managers and project managers will each have a dedicated track in which they will learn about their respective deliverables for Year Four. The communications managers will participate in tracks such as social media and media training, while the project managers will focus on training involving program management and risk management.
We look forward to seeing all the teams and sponsors to kick off Year 4! As always, stay up-to-date with the latest EcoCAR 3 news by visiting Facebook and Twitter.
