The EcoCAR 3 Year 3 Winter Workshop will be co-sponsored by NXP Semiconductors and dSPACE, Inc. and hosted by NXP in Austin, TX from February 1 – 4, 2017. The Winter Workshop is an important time for EcoCAR students to take stock of their progress and gain more knowledge and skills that will help them tackle the rest of the year heading into May’s competition.
At the workshop, students will receive details for the upcoming Year 3 Competition, as well as next year’s Year 4 Over the Road Event, which will put students’ vehicles to the ultimate test: real-world driving.
The workshop will offer sessions led by project management experts and engineering professionals. Students will participate in significant hands-on ADAS training by MathWorks and NXP, Vehicle and Component Test Development training from Bosch, as well as Vehicle Systems Communication and Operation training with GM, just to name a few.
