Bringing together all the resources to support a program such as EcoCAR is no small task. It requires literally hundreds of mentors, organizers and sponsors who have provided extensive software and hardware donations, volunteered countless hours of support and provided extensive funding and resources.
This unique collaboration of government, industry and academia is possible due to the support of 32 dedicated and passionate sponsors. EcoCAR 2 sponsors provide the hardware, software, training, and support the teams need to integrate technologies into their competition vehicles. Sponsors also have the opportunity to recruit from hundreds of North America’s top graduates in the field of engineering, business and communications. These students carry with them not only a passion for advanced vehicle technologies but the hands-on experience with these technologies as well as the latest industry practices and tools.
