Last night, teams and sponsors gathered aboard the magnificent Admiral Hornblower for a San Diego Bay Boat Cruise, which was sponsored by General Motors and PACCAR. They traveled along the bay, passing San Diego landmarks including the Seaport Village, ship-building and dry-docking facilities, Coronado Island, Point Loma and Cabrillo National Monument. The students were able to spend the evening viewing the beautiful sights of the San Diego bay and mingling with competition sponsors and teams.
Tonight, teams will be attending the Sponsor Social event where they will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals and sponsors who make this entire competition, a possibility.
