From mobility infrastructure to passenger vehicle design, the Equity in Mobility: Community Challenge, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, charged EcoCAR students with researching issues that impact local underserved communities. Equity in Mobility is a new competition element to immerse the entire team into learning about mobility, infrastructure, and passenger vehicle design issues affecting underserved groups.
During the Year One Competition, the Equity in Mobility: Community Challenge Symposium highlighted each team’s research toward understanding the broader mobility issues among an underserved community.
