EcoCAR EV Challenge leadership sponsors

Much of the success of Advanced Vehicle Technology Competitions (AVTCs) is due to the partnership of government, industry and academia. Since 1988, key industry, government, and academic sponsors have provided the hardware, software, training, and support AVTC students need to integrate technologies into competition vehicles.

We are proud to announce the lineup of Leadership Level competition sponsors for the EcoCAR EV Challenge series.

dSPACE

As a global technology leader for simulation and validation solutions, dSPACE will provide each team with a full suite of CAV software development tools (ASM – real-time models for vehicle development, AURELION – sensor-realistic simulation, ModelDesk – graphical user interface for simulation control and calibration, ControlDesk – experiment software for ECU development, and VEOS – PC-based Simulation), the AUTERA compute platform, and RTMaps for development and deployment of your software stack. This will allow teams access to industry-focused development tools to achieve simulation, software development, system evaluation, and deployment of CAV systems.

According to dSPACE “By sponsoring EcoCAR competitions, dSPACE takes an active role in training the next generation of engineers who will move the Connected and Autonomous Vehicle industry forward.  We get to work with the brightest young minds as they learn about the technologies and best practices in the industry. dSPACE is proud to continue its long history of sponsoring EcoCAR competitions.”
