Over the course of the competition, teams have been hard at work with their Hardware in the Loop (HIL) Simulators. The HIL is the virtual test bay where students can develop their controls and simulate their vehicle’s energy consumption and performance before implementing their designs in their Camaro.
Their designs were put to the test during stage one in Yuma when teams were given the opportunity to complete their integration and conduct preliminary testing of their vehicles’ capabilities.
