LEMONT, Ill. — Hesse Mechatronics, a wire bonder, smart ultrasonic welder and laser welder company headquartered in Tustin, Calif., has joined the Battery Workforce Challenge collegiate competition as a supporter-level sponsor. Hesse Mechatronics also provides automation solutions to work with its interconnection equipment.
The company’s providing BattChallengers cell welding training and capability.
“We’re excited to have Hessee Mechatronics on board in the BattChallenge,” said Ajay Gnanasekaran, BattChallenge director. “They’re providing our students with crucial hands-on, industry-level training that’s well preparing them for their future careers in the battery workforce.”
And in return, Hesse Mechatronics knows this sponsorship will pay dividends, equipping its future workforce with hands-on training before they even turn their tassels.
“Hesse Mechatronics is very excited to be involved in the Battery Workforce Challenge,” said Mike McKeown, Hesse Mechatronics’ senior business development manager. “We do a lot of work in the battery industry, and it would be great for students to learn this technology while still in school so when they start in the workplace, they are already set.”
