Donald Hesler is a senior software engineering student at Mississippi State University. Donald’s passion for both technology and motorsports has led him to join the Mississippi State EcoCAR 3 team. Currently, Donald is a member of the controls, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and Infotainment sub teams. Each role is critical to the design and implementation of the team’s ADAS and Infotainment systems. When asked why he joined the team, Donald says “I joined the EcoCAR team to give me a challenging experience that I could learn and apply new skills that relate to the real world. The idea that I can help Mississippi State innovate the automotive industry keeps me returning week after week to work on the team.”
