Siemens has been a sponsor of Advanced Vehicle Technology Competitions (AVTC), like EcoCar 3, for more than 10 years. Their largest contribution to EcoCAR 3 is their product lifecycle management software, including NX and Teamcenter software. These software programs facilitate conception, development, production and implementation of innovative solutions to technical challenges. The EcoCAR 3 teams will will use this software to design and optimize powertrain components during the last three years of the competition. Consistent with the EcoCAR 3 purpose, Siemens seeks to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
