The EcoCAR Mobility Challenge Year 2 Winter Workshop is underway! EcoCAR teams, sponsors, and organizers have arrived in Austin, TX, where we will have our first AVTC event of the new decade! This year’s 3-day workshop is hosted by NXP Semiconductors at their facility in Austin.
The workshop kicked off with a warm welcome from Kamal Khouri, GM & VP, Automotive Microcontrollers and Processors for ADAS Product Line, NXP, Fred Berneche, University Relations Program, NXP, and Kristen Wahl, AVTC Director, Argonne National Laboratory.
Throughout the workshop, teams will receive extensive training in donated software and components from competition-level sponsors including General Motors, MathWorks, NXP, Intel, Bosch, dSPACE, Siemens and many more! Students will also participate in one-on-one sessions with industry subject matter experts and attend a Sponsor Social Networking and Recruiting Event where they will learn about employment opportunities with many of our EcoCAR sponsors.
