UT Knoxville Wins the Best Clean Cities Collaboration Award

A year-long collaboration between EcoCAR 2, Clean Cities, and the Clean Cities University Workforce Development Program led to a video that won the Best Collaboration with a Clean Cities Coalition at the Year Three Competition.

The video featured highlights of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s collaboration with the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition. During the year, the EcoCAR team joined with the Coalition for energy and environmental outreach events to their local region. The team also worked with the Coalition to develop curriculum for local school to teach science and math skills.

The Ohio State University came in second place, with a video highlighting their work with both the Northeast Ohio Clean Transportation Coalition and Clean Fuels Ohio. Penn State University came in third place, based on their work with the Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities Coalition.
