By partnering with on campus organizations such as the Society of Women in Engineering (SWE), the Mississippi State University team is able to recruit female engineers from various disciplines. In its video blog, the team’s Systems Safety Manager, Kennedy Brown, discusses her lifelong goal of becoming a woman in engineering and hurdles that she and others face in the field. The MSU EcoCAR 3 team strives to create opportunities that empower, inspire, and foster success in all female engineers at Mississippi State.
