Where Are They Now: Dillon Carden & Priyash Misra

From West Virginia University EcoCAR 3 team members to EcoCAR Mobility Challenge Organizers, Dillon Carden and Priyash Misra have received the full experience of Advanced Vehicle Technology Competitions (AVTCs).

Dillon Carden is the Project Manager of EcoCAR at General Motors (GM). In this role, Dillon is responsible for strategic planning, resource identification/allocation, documentation, communication, and maintenance of the overall competition plan from the GM perspective.

Dillon joined GM in 2015 after completing his Master of Business Administration at West Virginia University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University. During his graduate program, Dillon participated in EcoCAR 3 as Project Manager for WVU.

Priyash Misra is a Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) Research Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory. His responsibility for AVTCs include managing the CAV Swimlane and serving as event captain for CAV dynamic events.

Priyash has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Science and Technology, India. He also has a Master’s in electrical engineering and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from West Virginia University, graduating in 2016 and 2019 respectively. Priyash was a part of West Virginia University’s EcoCAR 3 and EcoCAR Mobility Challenge teams in the capacity of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) lead and Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) lead.
