Collegiate Competitions

EcoCAR EV Challenge Logo

A four-year engineering competition challenging 15 North American universities to engineer a Cadillac LYRIQ, utilizing automation and vehicle-to-everything connectivity to implement connected and automated vehicle (CAV) technologies, and other innovative technologies to analyze energy efficiency, leading to greater transportation energy affordability, reliability, and security.

Battery Workforce Challenge Logo

A three-year immersive engineering competition that challenges North American universities and their community college partners to design, build, test and integrate an advanced EV battery pack into a Stellantis vehicle. Teams gain valuable engineering skills that transcend the classroom environment.

AVTC Sponsors

Sponsors provide the hardware, software, training and support the teams need to integrate technologies into their competition vehicles. This arrangement gives students access to components and systems that might otherwise be unavailable or too expensive.
